Santa Edson is a professional Santa that lives and plays in Edson, Alberta, Canada - just halfway between his two favourite places - Jasper National Park and the West Edmonton Mall, the largest playground in the world. Santa Edson loves to entertain at Christmas time to those who also live in the Edmonton or Red Deer or Calgary regions.

Santa Edson is a graduate of the 2009 Victor Nevada Santa School in Calgary, and the CW Howard Santa School of Midland, Michigan, 2012 and 2018- the world's oldest Santa Training School, The International University of Santa Claus 2010,  and the Santa Claus Conservatory of 2017 and is available wherever a professional Santa is needed. 


Santa Edson has the look of the Santa Claus you have come to know and love. He has real leather boots, real leather belt, and real sleigh bells. Santa suits include an Old Fashioned Santa. His mannerisms are very natural and very Santa like. Above all, Santa has love in his heart for children of all ages. He has served as the Edson Christmas Parade Santa since 2008. He was the 2015/2016/2017/2018 Edmonton Parade of Lights Santa arriving in a one horse open sleigh. 

For those who still observe Christmas the Orthodox way, Santa Edson can also dress as the Bishop of Myra himself, ST NICHOLAS and observe traditional observances on Dec 5/6 and on the Orthodox Christmas of January 7th. The performance is not associated with any particular religious denomination and is presented for pure entertainment purposes. 


Other appearances around Edson include Shoppers Drug Mart, WalMart,  Source For Sports, Drostan Community Hall, Coal Valley Children's Christmas Party, MacDonalds Breakfast With Santa, Pine Grove Hall and numerous private and corporate functions. 

Santa Edson has also appeared at private functions in Whitecourt and corporate events in St. Albert, CFB Edmonton, Sherwood Park and Stony Plain.
